Watch and Learn and make Walnut Macaroons!

Just last week I baked a batch of walnut macaroons from "The Artful Vegan" cookbook.  Remember how I said that they're my new favorite cookie? Well, I just cannot get enough of them. I think of biting into the buttery walnuts amongst chewy coconut, and my mouth begins to water   : P
As some of you know I've been working on producing my own cooking show for Sweet Potato Soul; and finally, yes  finally the first episode is complete.  This delicious homemade video was made possible by the uber-talented Maxx Loup, my boyfriend/BFF,  who filmed it, edited it, made the music and pretty much directed it; aren't I blessed?!

You know what I made?
WALNUT MACAROONS!

They deserve a whole episode devoted to all of their vegan chewy tasty goodness, and that's what they get.  I bring to you the very first episode of Jenné's Sweet Potato Soul. I hope you'll be inspired to bake these cookies for yourself, or a loved one on Valentine's Day.  I'm baking them for the bake sale at my church this Sunday.
Oooohh, they would be great in the shape of hearts and/or dipped in chocolate : )

Bon Appetit!

I wouldn't normally think of the walnut/coconut combination but it sounds delish and a nice change from the usual almond!

These look totally addicting. But then, I can't resist any cookie loaded with nuts of any sort. ;)

Let me first say that I LOVE your video! And the macaroons look to die for. I'm definitely trying them. I'm always on the lookout for gluten-free goodies that are full of healthy ingredients. Can't wait for the next episode!

Thank you also for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind words. I hope to have more creative exchange with you soon!
